  1. Dresser antique Empire mahogany

    Mahogany chest/dresser from 1800's, probably 1850. Well-kept. Purchased from local shop in Clarksville several years ago. Downsized to apt. Must sell. 46 length, 43 height, 20 depth. Similar style 1820's carved poster bed (queen) if interested in the period. Also listed.

    Antique four poster mahogany bed, period is 1820's. It is all original with a hand-rubbed soft, warm, glowing finish. Not re-touched or restored in any way. I purchased it from a notable dealer of 1700's antiques in South Boston/Halifax, Virginia area. He purchased it at auction in Raleigh, NC. I saw it assembled at his shop but never had ceilings high enough to accommodate this.     Two-gallon Cobalt decorated stoneware jug. Leaf design. Stamped "GEDDES," NY 2 (New York origin). No cracks, chips, or wear. Markings on bottom (see photo). It measures 14 inches tall, 9 inches across bottom and 28 1/2 in circumference. I have owned it since 1979, purchased from private owner in Upper Montclair, NJ.

  2. Covered wagon hardware

    This is a reach coupler which attaches to front of the reach hounds of the rear wagon axle, which receives the reach itself, which couples the front axle to the rear axle.

    This pie safe measures about 54" tall, 16" deep, and 36.5" across and is in good usable condition. Decorative items on top of safe are not included in this ad and not for sale.

  6. Aladdin 23 Lamp (Alum)

    The fuel reservoir and base of this old Aladdin lamp, with globe, appears to be made of aluminum. Some denting of the fuel cap and other parts of the metal are consistent with age. A hair-line crack is apparent at the base of the globe. It is offered for sale in "as is" condition.

  7. Antique Butter Mold Acorn Motif

    The old butter mold canister measures about 4.5" in diameter and 4" tall. The print block that fits inside this canister measures about 3.5" in diameter. The homemade handle used to press the print block into butter is a darker color than the print block and is attached to this block by handmade wooden threads (handle not shown in picture provided, but is attached to the print block).

    The old "flower motif" butter mold canister measures about 4.5" in diameter and 4" tall. The print block that fits inside this canister measures about 3.5" in diameter. The homemade handle used to press the print block into butter is a darker color than the print block and is attached to this block by handmade wooden threads (handle not shown in picture provided, but is attached to the print block).

  9. Stereoscope: probably walnut and aluminum-circa 1900

    This old stereoscope is trade marked "The Perfect Scope" and is patented in: Oct. 15, 1895, Feb. 2, 1896, and June 3, 1902. Other markings include Exposition Universal International (Paris exposition). It is in good usable condition.

  10. Blanket Chest: probably pine-restored

    This old chest has a candle box attached inside and measures about 38" across, 17.5" tall, and 18" deep. Corners are dovetailed and it is a "6 board" chest, except for the lid molding and foot pads. It is in good usable condition. Items on top of chest are not include in this ad and are not for sale.

  13. Antique Phonograph Horn-Morning Glory Style

    This old morning glory style phonograph horn measures about 23" in diameter, at it widest end, and 29" tall. It has the expected dings/dents in it consistent with age and use. Its coloring is the same as when we acquired it, but it appears to have been repainted.

  14. English Lap Desk--Mahogany w/ink bottle

    This old lap desk, with ink container, and storage compartments was obtained from an antique dealer in London several years ago. It measures about 11" (from left to right), 9" (front to back), and 4.5" deep. Shows signs of wear, including a ding in the lid's front surface which has been repaired (see photo provided).   17. Catawba, VA stoneware foot warmer, Charles Brauer

    I am selling a rare stoneware foot warmer from the Catawba Virginia Sanatorium. It is stamped as you can see in the photos and includes the name Charles E. Brauer. This beautiful piece is 11" high and 5 1/2" across. It is not dated but appears to be from the early 1900's. It can sit on its end or lie flat. It does have a large piece missing from the knob like end, but is otherwise in very good condition. I will sell it for $55.
